Our Services

We design, install, and restore landscapes that function as living systems rooted in soil health, ecology, and long-term resilience.

What We Do

  • We design and build living systems rooted in ecology.

We work with homeowners to transform yards into spaces that are both functional and alive — prioritizing native species, integrating ornamental plantings, edible systems, pollinator habitat, rain gardens, and natural beauty.

Each project is shaped around your property, your goals, and how you want to use the space. We handle everything from initial design through installation, including soil preparation, plant selection, layout, and structural elements like pathways and garden spaces.

    This may include:

    • Full landscape installation
    • Native and adapted plantings
    • Edible gardens and orchard spaces
    • Rain gardens
    • Soil improvement and fertility systems
    • Pathways and defined garden areas
    • Privacy hedges and wind breaks
    • Biological and organic lawn restoration

  • We integrate food production intentionally into your landscape.

We work with homeowners to create edible systems tailored to your property, lifestyle, and level of involvement.

We design and install these systems from the ground up, including soil preparation, layout, structural elements, and plant selection.

Each installation is designed to grow more productive over time — building soil, increasing yield, and becoming easier to maintain year after year.

    This may include:

    • Raised garden beds and kitchen gardens
    • In-ground vegetable and herb systems
    • Berry patches and perennial food crops
    • Orchard and small-scale tree crop systems
    • Edible plant integration throughout the landscape
    • Soil-building strategies to support long-term productivity
    • Seasonal succession planning for continuous harvest
    • Syntropic food forests and successional agroforestry

  • We restore trees and forests to improve their health, structure, and long-term vitality.

We work with property owners to put your property on the trajectory of an old-growth forest.

We approach this work with a focus on the forest as a single organism. We intentionally select and thin the weak trees and recycle them back into the system to support the strongest and allow the forest to only improve with time.

    This may include:

    • Selective thinning to reduce overcrowding
    • Structural pruning and canopy lifting
    • Removal of unhealthy or competing trees
    • Invasive species management
    • Biomass chop and drop to create a soil sponge
    • Improvement of soil and root conditions
    • Path creation
    • Wild fire mitigation
    • Regeneration of understory and native plant communities
    • Long-term forest health and management planning

How We Work

Every project is approached with abundance in mind.

Installation is done with care, attention to detail, and a focus on long-term success.

We stay involved beyond installation — checking in, making adjustments, and supporting the system as it establishes.

Living
Landscapes

Ecological landscape design and installation rooted in the Pacific Northwest.

We create regenerative, low-maintenance landscapes rooted in native ecology and soil health. From that foundation, we are able to integrate ornamental plantings, food systems, and garden spaces that reflect your individual context and support the surrounding ecosystem.

We believe your property should be more than something you just maintain. We work with nature to create thriving ecosystems that provide beauty, habitat, and food that only improve with time.

Find Your Connection

Your landscape should feel like part of you.

The same sense of calm and presence you experience in a forest or in the wild can exist right in your own backyard.

There is a point of connection for everyone. It might be picking berries, watching butterflies, or hearing birds in the morning. Those small moments are often what draw us back into relationship with the land.

We design landscapes that make this connection possible.

Safe for Everyday Life

Kid safe 👣 + 🐾 Pet safe

Kid safe and pet safe means we do not use synthetic fertilizers, chemical sprays, or unnecessary inputs in the spaces where people live, play, and grow food.

Instead, we build soil naturally using compost, worm castings, compost teas, biochar, and organic materials that support long-term health below the surface.

That matters because your landscape should feel safe to move through and interact with — for children, pets, pollinators, and everything else that depends on it.

We want it to be beautiful, but also something you can live closely with every day.
